is it actually free to play?
yes. open the arena, type a name and a wallet address, play. no entry fee, no gas, no token you need to hold. the prize money comes from $CELLO trading fees, not from players.
do i need a wallet extension?
no. there is no wallet connect and nothing to sign, ever. you type an 0x address like you would type a username, and it is only used as the destination for your winnings.
how do payouts work?
every 10 minutes a round ends and the top 5 humans by mass get paid: 50% to 1st, 25% to 2nd, 12% to 3rd, 8% to 4th and 5% to 5th. we claim the creator rewards that built up during the round and send them in ETH from the team wallet to the addresses they typed, in one on-chain transaction you can verify on the explorer. every payout shows up in the winners list above.
what happens when i die?
you get eaten, you see who did it, and you can respawn instantly or spectate. dying costs nothing, but your mass resets, so the climb starts over.
are there bots?
yes, a few, so the dish never feels empty. they play by exactly the same rules and physics, they are marked on the leaderboard, and they can never win a round. only humans get paid.
